It all began when someone left the window open. It was a Friday night that changed my life forever...
Me and my family lived in a very well-known neighbourhood, Pelican Hill in Newport beach, California, where the weather was beautiful and bright as ever. Nothing ever happened around here. The year was 1990, June 1st, Friday I was sound asleep in room waking up in the morning to my parents arguing with my brother about their business, my dad was a very rich man, he owned a company named after our last name. We were the Anderson's. My dads name was Richard Anderson, my mom was Joanne Anderson, my brother was Ken Anderson-short for Kenneth and I was Sarah Anderson. I ran downstairs to all the yelling and saw my brother rush out the door, soon enough I saw financial papers and saw that my brother had been cut out of the will. I asked my parents why they had done that, they did not answer me, but it all made sense because Ken was out of control with his expenses and had no interest in running the business after my dad, he just spent money on everything and wanted to do everything his way. My parents will left us eight million dollars and it would be divided among me and Ken, since he spent millions of dollars now, my parents had no choice but to cut him out or only give him a million dollars. I got ready for school and left my house.
I always got good grades and had good friends, I was happy with my life. I had a boyfriend who I just recently started to see and really liked. His name was Jonny, I've known Jonny and his family for awhile now, we were good child hood friends. He moved to my school so we started to see each other, although my brother was not to fond of him. My brother and Jonny use to be best friends but things changed. I still wanted my brother to like Jonny, my parents loved him but I did not know what to do, so he just had to accept the fact we were together and as long as my parents did I did not care.
School was tiring, I came home and found a note stuck to the fridge which read " Gone out for a day with your father, you know what to do and where everything is, call me if you need anything and make sure Ken comes back home. - love mom and dad." I had the house to myself on a Friday which was pretty cool! I called my brother, he did not pick up probably because he was out so I just left voice mail to tell him to come back home after. I went into my room and noticed that my window was open and some of my stuff had been moved, but I did not make much of it since our maid Loraine cleaned our house she probably moved a couple of my things or opened the window for fresh air, so I just left it. I called my friends over, but they were all busy doing something else since it was a long weekend. I was bored and Jonny was not answering his phone either, so I decided to watch movies in the theatre room by myself which sucked, but there was nothing else to do.
I fell asleep and woke up at around 1:00 a.m. and my brother still was not home, I got worried. Even more so, I heard noises and got very scared. I've never been home alone for this long or at night, I did not know what to do, my cell phone was upstairs too. I slowly come out of the theatre room, creeping up the stairs and counted to three to make my way into the living room, then the kitchen, I was hungry. I counted, 1... 2... I covered my mouth as I was about to take the last step when I saw a tall black figure on the wall. I wanted to gasp for air, yell and scream but I was too scared, the shadow was about 6"4 feet tall. I thought, it could not be my brother because he was only 6 feet tall and my dad was 5"6 plus my parents were out and my mom was 5"3, Jonny was the only guy who was this tall. I was still frozen in the same spot that I was about to take my last step in. I tip-toed back into the theatre room as I heard someone call my name and touching my shoulder, I screamed as loud as ever and I turned around it was Jonny. I was thankful it was him and not anyone else, he brought me flowers and he said he wanted to surprise me. I thought this was really sweet and in the moment I was very caught up in what he had done for me, I made food and we continued to watch movies. I started to have doubts though, why would Jonny surprise me in the middle of the night? How did he even get inside? Where was my brother? I remembered and told Jonny I had to call him. Jonny grabbed my arm and told me he saw my brother at a party with friends and told him he was going to my place and my brother was probably still out, so I should not worry. I loved Jonny and trusted him, but something in my gut was telling me that something was wrong, I told Jonny I was going upstairs to grab some blankets and mattresses, so we could sleep downstairs. I went upstairs and noticed my window had been shut and my parents room door was open, this was odd. Loraine left around 4:00 p.m. so I do not get how it could have been her. All of a sudden I hear sirens and cops pull up to our street. I run downstairs to Jonny and he was nowhere to be found... where did he go? I hear a knock on my door, a bald bulky cop with a notepad in his hand asked me if this was the house of Kenneth Anderson, and if my parents were home. I said yes and no. He asked me to go to the police station with him but I could not find Jonny, so I the cop to look for him, I asked what was wrong, all he said was to cooperate. I rode in the cop car and all the neighbours were looking at me in the car, as if I were a felon. This feeling was not one wanted to experience.
The officer took me into the station and asked me to identify a body... I freaked. My heart dropped in my stomach, my hands got sweaty and my mouth felt like it had cotton balls in them. Was it Ken? No, no, no. I saw it. I saw Kens face. Ken was dead. This was his body, his face. I broke down... My parents were called in and it took them two hours to get back here. My mom and dad were in state of shock and guilt. Guilt because of the argument they had in the morning. We waited for autopsy results and the cops were investigating, tracing my brother's steps and interviewing me and my parents over and over again. My friends came to the station to show support but left after awhile. I wanted to scream at the world. I wanted to kill someone.
After seven hours, autopsy results showed my brother had been murdered, blunt force trauma blows to the head with some sort of object, they found skin cells of another male with Ken's. I called Jonny to come to the station but he was not picking up the phone. This was frustrating I wanted someone with me, I did not want to go through this alone, I only had one brother, one sibling and I lost him. I knew the whole night something was wrong. I kept thinking about the whole day and all the doubts I had. All the investigator was doing was asking me what happened repeatedly, I told him everything from the argument with my parents, what I did, where my parents were, my friends, I told them about Jonny. The investigator paused, and asked me more about Jonny, which was weird. I told him about my window being open and how Jonny came over and all the suspicions I had throughout the day. All of a sudden the bald, bulky cop walked in and said that we had been robbed. He also said he found blood drops and a trash bag in Jonny's car, but Jonny was nowhere to be found. This hit me hard in the stomach, It was now 8:00 a.m. and we did not want go back home, but we had to. I came home and asked myself, did Jonny kill my brother..? No, I was not sure. Could it be true? I do not know, all I knew was me and my parents wanted answers. We did not even care about what had been robbed. The same bald, bulky cop had come to our house again, I read his name tag his name was officer Simpson.
Officer Simpson had asked us to go to the station with him again. He said he had results and evidence, we sat down in the same room as he told us what forensic science and investigators think happened to Ken.
"Our team believes after your heated argument with Ken, he had told his friends how he had been cut out of the family will and he regret spending so much money. He felt angry and just wanted to take his mind off of it and have a good time, so his friends who came in and testified told us they had later taken him to a local pub and began to drink and party at around 8 p.m. We also have local witnesses in the pub including the bartender to confirm this. They also said that he received a voice mail from his sister and was going outside to call her back and get some air. Witnesses say that they saw Jonny's car pull up at around 11 p.m., and had came inside and have a drink with some of of them and began conversation with them which they thought was odd because they did not associate with him that much and he asked if Ken was around, which they thought was weird, the bartender had also told us that Jonny was just being kind of pushy and annoying, but he left right after his drink and tipped the bartender." The officer paused and began to show us a surveillance tape. The tape showed Ken in the parking lot walking back to the pub when he runs into Jonny, they stop and talk then all of a sudden Jonny pushes Ken they began to fight and Jonny pulls a gun to my brother's head and they get into Jonny's car. The car leaves and the tape ends. This made me sick. I wanted to puke. I did puke. My parents were sick that someone we knew, someone I was seeing could do this to him. The officer continued on. "This tape was an important key of evidence since we could not figure out or have an idea of what might have happened to him, evidence in his car shows that he forced Ken to tell him where all the belongings in his house were or he would kill him, the car showed signs of struggle between them because of numerous finger prints on the windows and skin cells on seats.
Ken had no choice so he helped Jonny sneak in his house where you found your bedroom window open which Loraine, your maid, did leave open while cleaning since she confirmed and this was Jonny's way inside. He had been in your house and you did not even know it. He stole some items which is why your parents room door was open and left out your window but closed it which we also found fingerprints on. We believe Ken was in the trunk and once Jonny came back he killed Ken and tried covering up his tracks but got lazy and scared so he just threw his body in a nearby forest where a woman drove-by and saw, calling the cops. After he cleaned up and left all his items in his apartment, where we found. He tried to flea the area but border cops had caught him and he is currently being charged with the murder of your son." We were relieved we had the killer, but it was a lot to digest knowing that the killer was someone so close to you. We dealt with the loss in our ways and I felt like a fool I dated a boy like that, I would never be able to forgive myself.
I looked Jonny in the eyes during his trial, he could not even look me in the eye which I thought was really messed up, since he surprised me right after he killed my brother!? This was his cover up and know I know he probably just wanted to use the fact that he was with me as an alibi. I spoke my words and do did all of our family and friends. Jonny was sentenced to death.

Final Portfolio
Self Regulation
For my self regulation I give myself 20/33%. My attendance in class is good, I am never late although I have had a few absences. When I am absent I always check edmodo to catch up on missing work since Mr. Neuf always posts all the assignments I can check it online and get it finished. The quality of my work is done with time and detail, although my recent assignments have been really late. Only five of my assignments were late, my Romeo and Juliet essay, summative essay and Who Killed Wellington post and a few more. I always come to class with my device and prepared and use it somewhat responsibly. Sometimes I can get carried away but I use my device effectively most of the time. In class my seating is with people that I know I will not get carried away with or will distract me, but I can communicate with in class during class discussions. These two people are Margarita and Avery. When completing assignments during class time I get it done mostly unless it is an essay I will not continuously work on it. When completing my assignments I research the topic, look at other classmate's blogs and then write my post if I do not understand how to do it, this gives me a good idea of what to write and is very helpful. I always give credit in my work if I used a certain source to get my work done. Looking at my other classmate's blogs really help me as well. I communicate with my peers in the same way they communicate with me, it goes both ways on how I am treated and respected. If I make a mistake and someone corrects me, I will improve on it such as my blog posts or any other assignments I will go back and see what I did wrong or look onto more ideas on how I can improve my work, I always correct my classmates even for a tiny mistake on their essay, it will still count so I make sure I read their work very carefully as well as my own and sometimes compare the quality of my work to theirs. This shows me my strengths in writing and weaknesses including a different view point. For example, in my Charles Bukowski- Change or Stay assignment I argued that Charles should have stayed the way he was, other classmates argued he should have changed his lifestyle which made me re think about my argument and make more valid points and proof to prove my point of view of things and this really helped me write. When working in class I will take a break on my phone and then sometimes give up and work on it at home or go back to working, I kept a really good balance when finishing the novel in class when we had to finish reading it. I read a few pages took a five minute break and go back to reading. If an assignment really interests me I will continue to work on it and keep a balance between taking a break, when it came to Romeo and Juliet assignments I got carried away, which made most of those assignments late. This was a really hard challenge, when I had unfinished work and then more assignments to do, but I did finish everything on time, including to take the time to look at other people's blogs and comment on their work as well. Overall, this class has taught me the many ways to looking at things from a different prospective and I think my self regulation is not the best, but it is okay as well as my learning.
Quality of Communication Skills
The PLOs I have achieved in English 10
1) A1 interact and collaborate in pairs and groups to
– support and extend the learning of self and others
– explore experiences, ideas, and information
– gain insight into others’ perspectives
– respond to and analyse a variety of texts
– create a variety of texts
An example of this work would be in class discussions and online class discussions posting ideas and discovering new ones on edmodo. Discussing a variety of new ideas and reading other people's opinions help you learn a lot about the topic and illustration of the work. An example of some class discussions are about the novel, when we talked about Christopher having autism which I did not know much about, classmates who talked about it gave me a clear idea on what it is and gave me a better understanding about the novel as well such as the characters behaviour. Another example is researching Walt Whitman and posting facts about him on edmodo, reading what other people had posted gave me a good imagination about him. Interaction with my peers in class and online helps me re evaluate my ideas and thoughts and collaborating with theirs to come up with a better understanding.
3) C14 use conventions in writing and representing, appropriate to purpose and audience, to enhance
meaning and artistry, including
– grammar and usage
– punctuation, capitalization, and Canadian spelling
– copyright and citation of references
– presentation/layout
The best formal representation of these skills are my formal essays.

http://sahota786.blogspot.ca/2014/10/charles-bukowski-change-or-stay.html
I think I did my best on my first PLOs. Some of my contributions in class could have been better and connecting my personal thoughts to my work would have made a huge improvement which I know to keep in mind for next time. This is my future goal to make better goals in my essays and assignments. I cut off marks for handing in late work although the quality of my work is very good and written formal when necessary. In this category I give myself 20/30% because of all my work done well and all my proof, I still handed in my work late.
Contribution to the Learning Environment
I take all my peers/teachers feedback and work to improve on my work. This also includes online class discussions where I have many examples of.

My reading and viewing strategies in English are good, I have read a lot of blogs and essays of almost every classmate commenting on how they can improve their work and how well they have done. I view other people's work very thoroughly, giving positive feedback. These are some comments and feedback examples to five different people.

Edmodo online posts/research ideas and class discussions:
In this category I overall give myself 30/33% since I have a lot of proof of all my class contributions and ideas, I may have missed commenting on a few peers and viewing their work by mistake. Other than online, I help my classmates in class as well whether it was something on their phone such as a technical problem or finding the page number to the novel while we are reading. My peers also helped me in many ways teaching me new things and looking at a new prospective of certain topics.
Overall my final mark I think I deserve is 71% including the plus 1%, I may have distractions and handed in multiple late assignments but I still maintained to get my work done with detail and good quality as well as connecting with my peers online to have a better understanding of things which made me grow in a positive way, This English 10 class has improved me and taught me what to improve on. This class was different from any other English class, that being said instead of using paper and pencil we used our phones every single day and sometimes worked in the library but online you can learn so many things one of the biggest helping factor was edmodo. All the class discussion really helped on every unit and topic we worked on. I loved being in Mr. Neufs class!

Who killed Wellington?
Solving a mystery is no easy task, especially when the murder case is about a dog, which is a sad and cruel thing to discover.
Mr. Boone killed Wellington no doubt about it, and here are a few clues as to why he is capable of such crime.
The first suspicion was where is Christopher's mother? She had passed away, which meant that Mr. Boone was living on his own with his thirteen year old son who has autism. Secondly, he had also found out that his wife and Mr. Shears had been having an affair with one another. Thirdly, his emotions that thrived him. For one, he was already depressed about the whole sitation and felt angry about the affair, this being said he commited the crime.
Mr. Shears had not been living with Mrs. Shears, she was living alone with Wellington, which was a red herring. Mr. Shears and Mrs. Shears had been split up and he had left her. Maybe after all this time, he came back in the middle of the night to kill Wellington in act of depression and revenge. This made sense since he knew where all the house and belongings were, including the tool shed which he could have had access to. If he came back, word would still get around or he would have told someone. This leads me back to thinking about Mr. Boone. Mr. Boone and Mrs. Shears both know that they have been cheated on with their partners being together. If Mr. Shears left her, he does not really have that much of emotion or reason to kill a dog, where as Mr. Boone found out that woman he loved cheated on him with his neighbor. So he probably wanted more revenge than Mr. Shears, killing Wellington would hurt him. Mr. Boone was also known to be awake at that time and drinking most of the time. Being intoxicated with so much going on in your life can lead to doing stupid and hateful things. When your body consumes alcohol you lose control of yourself not knowing what your capable of doing. This is how Mr. Boones killed Wellington, in the middle of the night drinking, thinking about all the horrible things in his life. Wellington was killed in act of revenge.

Romeo&Juliet: Relationships
In the play of Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare includes a wide range of relationships, from lovers to kids and their parents. The relationship that best describes the complexity of modern teenager is the relationship they have with their parents.
One example of this type of relationship is the one Juliet has with her parents and nurse. She lives with her mother, father and nurse, who takes care of her more than her actual parents do. Juliet's mother does not really take care of Juliet like any other mother would take care of their child. Her mother is more about living the rich lifestyle of being a Capulet, drinking all the time, buying expensive clothes and partying. Nurse is the one who actually takes care of Juliet and Juliet looks up to her as more of a mother figure than her actual mother. Since Juliet is only thirteen, becoming a teenager she needs her mother to be there for her as she goes through changes and needs someone to talk to about her problems and feelings. Her mother is not there for her through all that so nurse fills in that position. One example that shows Juliet's mother has lost track of her daughter is, is in Act 1, Scene 3. Lady Capulet orders nurse to call Juliet and then tells nurse to leave so they can talk in private. Lady Capulet then quotes " Thou knowest my daughter's of a pretty age. " Nurse is still around and responds quote, " Faith, I can tell her age unto an hour. " In this scene Juliet's mom is saying how young her daughter is and nurse says, well of course I do, I know her age ever since she was born. They continue to argue about who knows Juliet better and in reality nurse does because she knows Juliet's birthday and her mom does not, although she is the one who gave Juliet birth she forgets her birthday, which is August 1st. Every other parent knows their kid's birthday but Lady Capulet forgets and her dad does not know either. The time that Juliet was growing up, nurse is the one who breast fed her while her parents were away in Mantua. Nurse knows that she has been there more for Juliet than Lady Capulet. By birth and name she may be Juliet's mother but nurse is still the one who did the motherhood role and still is. When Lady Capulet says things like this, it makes nurse emotional because she is attached to Juliet and treats her like she is her daughter, loves her and cares about her genuinely. This is the feeling that any mother would feel with their child. As nurse and Lady Capulet are going back and forth, nurse is saying things as to being superior towards Lady Capulet which makes her feel jealous and angry that she knows Juliet better than her. Another example that shows nurse is actually taking Juliet's feelings into consideration is when she meets Romeo. Although nurse knows the feud between the Capulet's and Montague's, she still agrees to listen to Juliet go on about Romeo and does not tell her parents, or make Juliet change her mind about him. As any parent, it is important you understand your child's perspective before saying anything and this is what nurse does. In Act 2, Scene 4 Nurse delivers a message from Juliet to Romeo since it is hard for them to meet, she also tells Romeo what would happen if he messed around with Juliet. Nurse says quote, "Pray you, sir, a word. And as I told you, my young lady bid me to inquire you out. What she bade me say, I will keep to myself. But first let me tell ye, if ye should lead her into a fool's paradise, as they say, it were a very gross kind of behaviour, as they say. For the gentlewomen is young, and therefore, if you should deal double with her, truly if I were an ill thing to be offered to any gentlewomen, and very weak dealing." Nurse is basically saying that before she delivers the message from Juliet, he can not play with her heart because that will show a very bad reputation for himself and it is a crime to trick such a young lady that way. Romeo swears he can never betray the love of his life and nurse does not see him as an enemy but a good hearted boy that will keep Juliet happy. She says quote " Good heart, and i'faith, I will tell her as much. Lord, she will be a joyful woman." This scene shows how much nurse cares for Juliet unlike her real parents, who just want Juliet to be married to some random, rich and way older man than her. When Juliet tries to explain how she will not marry Paris to her mother, her mother does not understand at all and father gets angry.
Juliet's relationship with her father is very complex, she has no voice when she is even speaking to him. The household is ran by only him and everyone must obey his rules. As a father or any parent there should be communication between your child, except Juliet and her father do not communicate unless he needs her to do something for him. An example of this is when Lord Capulet needs Juliet to marry Prince, who is way much older than her but because he is rich, it will give them more wealth and good reputation to the family and this is where Juliet fits in the picture. In Act 3, Scene 5. Juliet asks her father to listen to her thoughts about the marriage, he responds quote "Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch! I tell thee: get thee to church o' Thursday, Or never after look me in the face. Speak not. Reply not. Do not answer me. My fingers itch.-Wife, we scarce thought us blest That god had lent us but this only child, But now I see this one is one too much And that we have a curse in having her. Out on her, hilding!" Lord Capulet is furious, He is so mad about Juliet's disagreement, he tells her she has to go to church on Thursday to be married or to never look him in the face or speak to him again and not to even respond to what he is saying. Lord Capulet feels like slapping his wife because god gave them only this one child that turned out to be a curse in their family. He only uses the word "curse" significantly since she refuses to the marriage which is not how a parent should act with their child or say to them. Nurse then speaks towards Lord Capulet and sticks up for Juliet, she says quote " God in heaven bless her! You are to blame, my lord, to rate her so." Lord Capulet responds quote " And why, My lady Wisdom? Hold your tongue, Good prudence. Smatter with your gossips, go. " As nurse explains to Lord Capulet that Juliet should not be spoken to in the angry tone he is, he tells nurse to to shut up and go away. This is another example showing how nurse uses her voice acting superior towards Juliet's parents. Nurse is the real mother and father to Juliet.
Relationships today are very similar despite being centuries apart because some people still follow old traditions or mostly try to fit into society. For example, the rich will marry rich and the poor will marry poor, but there is no point of marrying someone with money if you do not love them back because you will not stay happy. The saying today, " Money cannot buy happiness" fits into many people's relationships today. If the poor people marry poor people they can marry whoever they want, fall in love and have a happy life. If rich people still get arranged to marry other rich people it is not really love. Money can buy you the biggest house, luxurious lifestyle and nice things but all those things do not compare to being loved and happy for the rest of your life. This is why a lot of parents are disappointed with their children when they do not agree to marriages and their relationships become complex.
Shakespeare invented teenagers "Romeo and Juliet" to be very adolescent. Today, people have made many movies, plays and operas based on this one love story which left this story to be the "classic" love story of all time. Shakespeare showed us the tragedy side of things, he would think of teenagers today to be completely comical but have the same traits of Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare created intensity in the play of two lovers who can not see each other, but sneakily do which many teenagers still do today. The difference is love, by once glance you can not fall in love and today teenagers consider that as just being attractive, not being in love. This is also an idea Shakespeare created.
The idea of relationships centuries ago and relationships today still follow up with each other, but money can never buy happiness.

Walking a mile in someones shoes
Walking a mile in someone's shoes can change how you feel about them and perhaps change how you feel about yourself, for example in Romeo and Juliet, Juliet has a bad impression of Romeo because he is a Montague but once she gets to know him as a person she realizes a name means nothing he is just a normal guy who loves her. In the novel "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" Christopher's dad is the only one taking care of him because his mom is not around, but when Christopher visits his mom in London and shows up to her apartment, it hits her that her ex-husband was alone in taking care of their son.
In Romeo and Juliet, Juliet basically walks a mile in Romeo's shoes because they are moral enemies, the Capulet's and Montague's. They do not know that when they meet each other but soon enough when they do find out they question each other's love and thoughts. After harsh judgments Juliet makes about Romeo, she realizes he still loves her and she still loves him too. Juliet also realizes how much hatred he probably felt from her family members especially her cousins and how he felt because of his name, since she felt the same way. Another fact is that when they found out each other's last names, Romeo probably felt scared that things would not work out with Juliet and she probably felt the same way too. At the same time they hated each other but their love would kill that hatred they felt for each other. In a way they both have walked a mile in each other's shoes realizing what their family names meant, being together meant and what their family thought of them being together. This made them both change their thoughts about themselves and each other. An example from the play in Act 1, Scene 5 Romeo and the Nurse are having a conversation about Juliet and nurse tells him she is a Capulet. Romeo responds by saying "O dear account! My life is my foe's debt!" Romeo says to himself, "Is she a Capulet?" This is a heavy price to pay because his life is in his enemy's hands. Romeo also says "Ay so I fear. The more is my unrest." He means he is afraid but more in trouble than ever. When nurse tells Juliet Romeo's name Juliet responds in Act 1, scene 5 "My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown, and known too late! Prodigious birth of love it is to me, that I must love a loathed enemy." She means the only man she loves is the son of the only man she hates referring to Romeo's father, she saw him too early without knowing who he was, and finding out who he was was too late. She thinks love is a monster for making her fall in love with her own enemy. In the chorus of the play it says that Romeo starts to look for love again he cries for Rosaline, but then compares her love with Juliet's. Rosaline did not love Romeo back, but Juliet did that was the difference between both of their loves. Romeo loved the fact that Juliet loved him back so he could not go back to loving Rosaline, but he has to make speeches of love to a woman who is suppose to be his enemy. Juliet hesitates to say the things a lover normally would say to Romeo. Juliet loves Romeo just as much as he loves her but she has less of a chance seeing him than he does. On the other hand, love gives them power. The power to meet and experience the fun and danger of it.
In the novel, Christopher and his dad are living on their own and with Christopher having autism and his mom not around, Mr. Boone has a lot to sacrifice and make ends meet. On page 126, Christopher runs away from his home to meet his mother in London, when he shows up all by himself his mothers first action his hugging him, but she has been away for so long she completely forgets that her own son does not like to be touched. What completely hits Christopher's mother is when after Mr. Boone shows up to her apartment. On page 130, Mr. Boone and her argue back and forth about Christopher. In reality, Mr. Boone took care of him more since she just left them and she realizes how much he had to put up with in taking care of their son who has autism. An example of this is on page 131, Mr. Boone argues quote, "I cooked his meals. I cleaned his clothes. I looked after him every weekend. I looked after him when he was ill. I took him to the doctor. I worried myself sick every time he wandered off somewhere at night. I went to school every time he got into a fight. And you? What? You wrote him some fucking letters." In frustration he lets out all his feelings which leads Christopher's mother to feel guilty, walking a mile in Mr. Boone's shoes realizing she should have been there and what she had done by leaving them was wrong.
Walking a mile in someone's shoes can be hard to take on yourself, judging someone else and then going through the exact same thing can really impact your thoughts on people which is important to keep in mind, harsh judgments will get you no where.
